2019 Guber: Labour Party Goes Spiritual in Imo, Holds Prayer Session For Successful Congress.

The leadership and members of the Labour party( LP) lmo Chapter on Wednesday, held a praise and worship session in appreciation to God for a successful party Congress ,using the opportunity to pray for victory  ahead of 2019 general election  .

 

The prayer session was held at the party  secretariat ,along MCC road,Owerri where party faithfuls from all the 27 local government areas had gathered, seeking for God’s intervention and wellbeing of IMO and her people.

 

Addressing Trumpeter shortly after the prayer session ,Hon.Uche Echereodo Publicity Secretary of Labour Party Imo chapter said the party is ready to mobilize her members to ensure  that LP form the next government come 2019 and has resorted to praise and worship to attract God blessing and thanking God for a successful party Congress .

 

Hon Echereodo pointed out  that the thanksgiving was convened by the  leadership of the party in the state, describing the party in the state as one big family from ward level to state.

 

The vibrant publicity secretary said that as the nation approached the 2019 general election, it was wise to also use the platform to seek God’s guidance and directions. He maintained that for a critical year like 2017, in which God has shown Labour party so much mercies and kindness, as a political party , it becomes most imperative for them to rise in one voice and thank God.

 

In his speech, Chief .Ikechukwu  Ukaegbu( Ikenga )the Leader of Labour party in Imo and entire South East congratulated all the party faithful for finding time to attend the the praise and worship gathering despite their tight schedule. He urged them not to relent as prayer is the only key to victory.

 

He further admonished all in attendance that LP is the only party that can bring the expected change and everyone is equal in the party.

 

Ikega urged them to commit everything in the hand of God as their only hope.

 

Those in attendance included the state chairman of LP Chief. Ikechukwu Akujobi,Sir.Bright Nwaelue,Chief. Simon Nwogbe,Lady China Ugwoji,Chief. Fan Kochi among others too numerous to mention.
