CHIEF NWOKE BLAST DR. IFEANYI NWACHUKWU

.
The chairman Association of Community Liaison Officers (Clo’s) in Ezinihitte Mbaisc Local Government Area of Imo State, Chief David Nwoke has condemned the recent moved made by the state commissioner for special duties, Dr. Ifeanyi Nwachukwu to restructure the executive of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Ezinihitte Mbaise which he said that has cause a lot of crises in the area.
Chief Nwoke who disclosed this to News men in Owerri regretted that Dr. Nwachukwu restructured the executive of the party without consulting the stakeholders of the party in the area, adding that such act cannot bring peace and progress in the area.
“Dr. Nwachukwu is using his position to cause problem in the area. Any restructuring of the party executive that cannot bring leaders of Ezinihitte together will not see the light of the day. He single handedly compile list of members of CGC in each autonomous community in Ezinihitte and send it to Government House instead of allowing the communities to choose those that will represent them”.
He stated with dismay that each autonomous community in Ezinihitte paid certain amount to Dr. Nwachukwu for the inauguration of members of CGC and wondered why the state Government should charge money for such inauguration.
He however commended the state Government, OwelIe Rochas Okorocha for the introduction of four-tier Government known as Community Government Council (CGC) which is aimed to fast-track development in the rural area, adding that the CGC will unlock the agricultural potentials in the rural areas and as well bring governance to the door step of rural dwellers.
Chief Nwoke noted that the Community Government Council will make the people look inward towards finding lasting solutions to their various community problems and appointment of the Clo’s will complement the effort of the state Government towards transforming the rural areas to modern cities.
He thanked Governor Okoroacha for appointing some of the Ezinihittc sons to key positions in the state like Barr. Vitalis Ogbonna and Hon. Independence Ogulewe and urged Dr. Nwachukwu to use his position to attract development in the area instead of causing problems.
