Commendations and Praises have continued to pour in for Senator Samuel N Anyanwu (Samdaddy), the Senator representing Owerri zone senatorial District at the Senate in the National Assembly, Abuja over his clubs achievement in the recently concluded Imo State 2017 FA Cup Competition.
The recent is that coming from the former majority leader of the Imo State House of Assembly and member for Owerri Municipal Council during Governor Ikedi Ohakim’s regime, Hon Clinton Amadi who described Senator Samdaddy as great achiever who he said has not left any doubt in the mind of his constituents and the state with his ground breaking achievements in his time as a colleague in the State House and even presently in the Senate were his currently the Chairman Ethics, Privilege and Public Complains Committee among many others.
He lauded the Senator wisdom in creating a wonderful platform for the youths of his constituents through the formation of the club Samdaddy FC which he said has been very evident with their victory in this year’s FA cup against highly fancied sides like Heartland FC, Nnewi United, Papilo FC, ISOPADEC FC and many others in their very first time of asking.
Hon Amadi went further to express confidence in the club side to do well in the upcoming National Federation Cup Competition maintaining that the distinguished Senator who’s antecedents in his first time at the senate transcends across the nation will ensure that his pet club will be very well motivated to give the state a befitting and worthy representation at the national level just like their principal is doing.
It could be recalled that Samdady FC on their way to winning their first FA cup trophy in their first time of asking defeated Passolo FC of Nwangele, Prince Eze Madumere FC, Pakat FC, ISOPADEC FC and Heartland FC in the final played at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri last Sunday.
