Heartland FC Keeper, Obiazor Says CAF Ticket Possible

Heartland goalkeeper, David Obiazor believes strongly that his side are on the right path to realising their continental ambition in the ongoing league season.
The Naze Millionaires finished first term campaign strongly on the fourth position on 32 points four points behind leaders, Sunshine Stars.
Obiazor said the Owerri outfit are determined to garner quality points in the second stanza that will earn the side one of the African tickets in the league.
“We are keenly looking forward to the restart of the second stanza to further improve on our first term performances.
“Our target remains to claim a continental ticket at the end of the ongoing season.
“The league holds our entire hope for a shot at the continental after the painful exit at the Federation Cup in the hands of nonleague side, BJ Foundation FC.
“Our calculation for a guaranteed ticket is not to go beyond the second spot at the close of hostilities and we are working towards it,” said the former El Kanemi Warriors shot stopper.
Heartland are expected to restart the season campaign at third placed side, Wikki Tourists in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 20 clash at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium (ATBS), Bauchi.
