The Imo State Governorship Election Tribunal led by Justice David Wyom has allegedly rejected any kind of help from Imo State Governor, be it logistics in terms of accommodation or vehicle.
Sources told Trumpeta that as a good host, the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, had allegedly without any thing in mind, asked where he could be of help to the members of the Tribunal to have a conducive stay in the state and discharge their assignments without hitch.
But Trumpeta sources said that the Justices Wyom led Tribunal rejected any help, as it has all its arrangements already ironed out before coming to Imo State.
Sources told Trumpeta that Okorocha had made arrangement for vehicles for the chairman and his members, to have a smooth stay in the state, but the gesture was politely rejected.
This Newspaper learnt that over three matters are in the Tribunal against the incumbent Governor, Rochas Okorocha.
One of the contentious matters is that of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha’s.
Meanwhile, Ihedioha Lawyers, Chief Mike Ahamba (SAN) had boasted during the inauguration of the Tribunal that his client, Ihedioha will clinch the Imo Governorship seat through the Tribunal.
“Our target is to return Emeka Ihedioha to the Government House or in the alternative have the election nullified. We pray that we don’t miss both” Ahamba had boasted
