Trumpeta Newspaper gathered that children from different schools both private and government owned trooped out en-mass to participate in the ritual match past at the two LGA’s only to be disappointed by the absence of the Government officials.
It was observed that children of the said area were not adequately taken care of as nobody was able to provide the logistics for refreshment and hiring of buses.
However, it was revealed that reasons why there was no logistics was seen as a “payback time” as it was rumoured that the two LGAs did not give the governor their votes during the just concluded elections.
On a similar note, Trumpeta gathered that the action of the governor in not showing any concern to Aboh and Ezinihitte chairmen was as a result of their reluctance in accounting for the funds given to them for elections .
Speaking to our reporter, one of the pupils in primary five (5), little Ugochi Nlemchi said that in her LGA, Owerri North, none of them were taken care of except children of Rochas Foundation college who were fed with gala and pure water.
