The conduct of seasoned lawyer Chief Niyi Akintola SAN at Justice Ngozi Opara’s court during the legal battle between the 27 LGA embattled chairmen and the Rochas Okorocha led government of Imo state has reached a worrisome crescendo.
POPULAR SIDE notices that the presiding judge has expressed disappointment over the approach of the Senior Advocates during court proceedings, as he interrupts rival counsel at will and stands when rival counsel is still standing which observes complain is against the ethics of the court and improper to the junior lawyers.
POPULAR SIDE observed that the judge had to advice him and all other counsel to be mindful of their conduct as they are just a hired labour unlike SA Njoku Imo AG, who is a party to the suit.
