The executive committee of the Club Owners Association of Nigeria rose from its meeting in Abuja on Tuesday night with a call to the various state governments (owners) and sponsors of Premier League clubs in the country to give room for continuity in the management structure of the Premier League clubs in order to guarantee stability.
This call became necessary in view of the upcoming transition from one government to the other in many states of the Federation which own and fund Premier League Clubs in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the club owners emergency general meeting would hold in Abuja next week to discuss vital issues as it affects the current league season, top on the agenda would be the proposed capacity building seminar for all the club chairmen and Managers holding in South Africa soon, amongst other issues.
