Following the just concluded Party primaries in Imo State that produced candidates who will contest the 2015 elections for various political offices, one out of the numerous flag bearers under the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA and hopeful for the Federal House of Representatives in 2015, Chief Ambrose Unakalamba, flood his gate open to appreciate his Party, APGA and delegate members for dimming him fit for the party’s ticket to represent Mbaike (Mbaitoli/Ikeduru) Reps Seat.
In an address to the large turn-out last Tuesday at his Obilubi residence in Mbaitoli LGA, Chief Ambrose Unakalamba stressed that the support given to him by the Party and delegate members during the recently held primaries was over whelming which enabled him to clinch the ticket, adding that the battle for who emerges in 2015 election is most important as their effort will ensure optimum victory.
In his advised, he urged party members to continue the struggle for his victory in 2015 noting that only their collective effort will ensure a land-slide victory for Mbaike Federal constituency seat and APGA in 2015.
Speaking earlier, the Mbaitoli L.G.A, APGA chairman, Mr. Dikeocha Geoffrey recalled the event that saw the emergence of chief Unakalamba as the flag bearer which he said is vehemently the people’s choice for Mbaike Federal House of Reps seat as he reeled his enormous leadership qualities in conferment of his constituents.
Mr. Dikeocha noted that amongst four aspirants vying for the seat under APGA, Chief Unakalamba is the only candidate that was dimmed fit to contest against Henry Nwawuba of the People’s Democratic Party PDP and IB Okafor of the All Progressive Congress APC for the seat; he said that they will only struggle as victory for Unakalamba is assured.
He further revealed that the certificate of return signed by the Party’s Executives and presented to Chief Unakalamba goes a long way to attest their support for his capabilities as he extolled his generosity which he said have continued to add value to the party, members and constituents.
