As every political party in the state is putting finishing touches to their strategies for the 2015 general elections, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Oguta LGA has continued to increase in numbers as Hon Ijeoma Mbadiwe (the Game changer) took over 1,000 faithful formerly of the ACN to rejoin the PDP.
At the welcome back ceremony which took place at the PDP’s Oguta party secretariat along Ameshi road, the party secretary Mr Ogini Johnson who received the returnees on behalf of the party chairman stated that PDP Leaders and its entire family welcomes everyone of them back to the greatest party in Africa assuring that the umbrella is large enough to accommodate them.
Mbadiwe who was the chairman of chairmen in the now defunct ACN expressed his happiness over rejoining PDP with all his supporters who are scattered all over Oguta, Oru-West and Ohaji/Egbema LGA’s especially now there is unity, understanding and sense of belonging in PDP.
He further stated that it is evidently clear that PDP is focused and has people oriented policies that positively affect the masses as can be seen in the transformation agenda of Mr President, Goodluck Jonathan.
Mr. Mbadiwe popularly known as the game changer reassured his readiness to do everything possible to move PDP forward in the LGA and the state especially towards ensuring that PDP wins the fourth coming elections.
Reacting, Hon Emma Nwadialo an elder of the party commended Mr. Mbadiwe who is the CEO JIMBA Construction Company (NIG) LTD who left PDP to ACN with Sen. Ifeanyi Araraume and former Gov of the state Chief Achike Udenwa after the 2011 elections for taking the bold step assuring him and his faithful that PDP will not disappoint them.
