One of the structures of Hon Eudora Igwe known as Okwesilieze Remedy Group has tongue lashed the past senators that represented Imo West Senatorial District in the past political dispensation saying that they are abruptly fade up with dormant senators from Orlu zone and not ready to wallow in poor representation again come 2015.
Expanciating their feelings, they went memory lane to disclose that when political activities were lifted in 1978, politicians in the old Oru local government area promoted some personalities like Dr. Alphonsus Okechukwu Okibedi from Amiri clan and Nze Ignatius Umunna from Mgbidi to contest for vital positions which they served their people devotedly with an emulating legacies. Sequel to the effective representation, their successors also were said to have proven to be productive.
Meanwhile, they stated that ever since these people served for the betterment of the masses, such services have never been witnessed again, but was only hijacked by some politicians with little or no peoples feeling at heart, rather enriched themselves, families and relatives which they opined will not be guaranteed nor allowed to repeat again in 2015.
Convincingly, the Remedy Group submitted that Orlu zone, men and women have woken up from their slumber to tackle the reoccurring decimal of godfatherism, snatching of ballot boxes with thugs, rigging and other electoral vices that might bridge their goodwill of producing a sound senate material who is ready to effect changes in the administrative and representative levels without any bargain exhibited by the men.
However, the group advised other aspirants jostling for the office of senator in 2015 that it is only Hon Barr. Eudora Igwe that has the best credentials to represent Orlu zone, as she has showcased his heroic deeds in the past and in the present Assembly representation through her numerous philanthropic gestures to the less privileged and indigent widows.
“After electing Barr Igwe in 2015 as our distinguished senator in Orlu zone, our regrets shall be over because Orlu people will begin to reap the dividends of democracy for which the heroes and heroines of democracy fought for” they added.
