SIR MICHAEL IHEJIETO MARKS BIRTHDAY IN EXCEPTIONAL FASHION

One of the communities that make up Lagwa-Okwuato in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area Umukere, came alive over the weekend following a birthday event held at the confines of Mike’s Bakeries Limited in Lagwa Okwuato of Aboh Mbaise Local Government of Imo State.
Celebrants of the occasion a philanthropist and Chief Executive Officer of Mikes Bread Limited Nationwide, Sir Michael Ihejieto in his welcome remark stated that his birthday is an eventful one because of God’s undiluted love and peace in his family.
Expressing in happiness, Sir Michael Ihejieto, stated that his birthday this year 2014, had witnessed the end of the crisis on the Ezeship stool in Lagwa Okwuato with the installation of Dr. Anthony Elugwara as the Eze elect which he said he fought for and almost lost his life in the process, but however thanked God for vindicating him his family and the people of Lagwa Okwuato.
Speaking to newsmen, Sir Michael Ihejieto pointed-out that what was planned to be a low key birthday celebration, witnessed top distinguished personalities from the various clans in Lagwa Okwuato community, various LGA’s of Imo State, from notable parts Nigeria and business partners overseas stormed the venue including Eze Dr. Anthony Elugwara and his Chives.
Earlier, the birthday event which kicked off with a thanksgiving Mass, had the parish Priest of Saint Michael’s Parish Lagwa Okwuato, Rev. Fr. Kyrian Chilaka in his sermon he advised the people of Lagwa Okwuato to live their live in the fear of God and love for one another adding that it is by the grace of God and the goodness done to one another that draws us closer to God.
Speaking, HRH Eze Dr. Anthony Elugwara who showered encomiums on Sir Michael Ihejieto for his relentless contributions towards bring the Ezeship crisis to a halt and for the perceived peace in the community, re-affirmed his commitment towards ensuing peace and unity in Lagwa Okwuato.
Reacting, the President General/Secretary General, Community Government Council CGC, Hon. Chief Charles Chukwuma Njoku stated that development do not strive where there are crisis and thanked God for the new era with its perceived peace.
He thanked Sir Michael Ihejieto for his unflinching contributions towards a sustainable peace and progress in Lagwa Okwuato.
Highpoint of the event was a prayer session held for the family of Sir Mike Ihejieto and family, the Eze elect and the people of Lagwa Okwuato community.
