A close confidant and Aide of the Governor of Imo state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha (names withheld) last week Friday at the NNPC Mega Filling Station, along Onitsha Road, Owerri at about 2pm threw caution to the wind and engaged the wife in a free for all fight in the open over a girl friend.
A large crowd of on lookers, including drivers, travelers, hawkers and motorists buying fuel at the filling station stood by and watched the drama as it unfolded.
Trumpeta learnt that the man, a top security operative in the Okorocha administration was caught in an ambush laid by the wife who has been trailing his movements, after she learnt that her husband was dating one of his secretaries in office by name Joy, whom it was alleged was specifically employed to be warming the libido of dark Ex-police officer.
Therefore on Friday, the former council boss had picked his sweet pie and stopped at the NNPC filling station to buy fuel, when suddenly, the wife who is a senior police officer stormed the place with a police patrol van and blocked the husband’s vehicle.
However, sensing danger, Joy jumped out from the vehicle, and madam pursued her, but was obstructed by Oga’s orderly, who let the about 25 year old beautiful lady stake to her heels, abandoning her usual female wares in the car, which Madam carted away as a war booty.
Seeing that her prey had escaped, the Madam, huge and tall in size, made for the husband who scampered for safety. By then, many customers at the filling station had ran in different directions, thinking that the police woman was pursuing a thief.
Trumpeta learnt that the Governor Okorocha Aide was heading for a burial some where in Awomama in Oru East when he diverted to the filling station to buy fuel. It was learnt that the relationship between Oga and Joy has been generating trouble in the Big Man’s home, to the extent that his children had threatened to shoot Joy whenever they set eyes on her.
Not only that, tongues are said to have been wagging in the office of the Big Boss who uses customized vehicle plate number in Imo state.
Other ladies in his office are jealous of Joy, as Oga hardly hides their relationship in the office.
Some of the ladies at the office now located at Okigwe road, Owerri expressed happiness over what happened to joy, but were disappointed that she escaped Madam’s angry venom.
Meanwhile, Trumpeta investigation unveiled that Joy could not come to work yesterday, Monday due to the fear that the senior police officer wife of Oga may return for more pound of flesh.
