Heartland FC: New General Manager Makes Changes, Ramson Goes, Bethel Enters

Even when everything is prone to “change”, the only thing that is constant is change itself. It is on this premise that certain changes have been going on in the administrative and technical hierarchy of Imo State’s darling football club, the Heartland football club.
First to receive the changing “bullet” from his sick bed was Chief Fan Ndubuoke chairman of the club when the powers that be brought in a new General Manager Prince Okey Ibe. Nomenclature also changed which redesignated Mr. Oscar Keke to the post of General Coordinator.
Just yesterday (Wednesday), sports writers in the state converged on the Dan Anyiam Stadium to witness another change ceremony. This time it was the unveiling of a new Chief Coach in the person of Mr. Bethel Orji who takes over from Mr. Ramson Madu now redeployed to the state sports council.
Introducing the new Chief Coach, the General Coordinator Chief Oscar Keke extolled the coaching qualities of Mr. Orji who had played for the Super Eagles and other premiership sides in Nigeria. He is a product of Nigeria Institute of sports Lagos and even played under Kelechi Emetole in the academicals levels.
Chief Keke insisted that the change of Ramson Madu was not on account of non performance recalling that Ramson was incharge in 2011 when the story of federation cup, charity and super four trophies were songs of the day then.
He later gave the new chief coach the clubs jersey, cap and other club souvenirs.
Speaking, Mr. Orji said he was happy with his appointment and promised to delver having played in various categories.
On behalf of the sportswriters Imo State, Mr. John Nworgu assured the club executives that the Association would partner them at all times and appealed that members be carried along in the scheme of things.
