WE HAVE SCORES TO SETTLE WITH OKOROCHA -ORLUZURUMEE YOUTHS

Contrary to the recent publication in an Owerri based news paper (not Trumpeta) that the body has no issue with the Governor of Imo state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, the apex youth organization in Orlu zone, Orlu Zurumee Youth Assembly has stated that the State Governor owes them good Governance. In a press statement made available to Imo Trumpeta yesterday, the Orluzurumee Youths Assembly disclosed that the body wouldn’t have had anything to do with the Governor, if he was not appointed the Grand Patron on the 31st of December. 2009, where “he promised the youth of the zone how he intends to provide a ladder for them to climb to their destination if he eventually becomes either a Senator or Governor”. According to the group, “we all took him serious and took the project as our personal project in pain and sweat, going out of our way to fund a proposal which we gave the Director General of his campaign, Prof. Anthony Anwuka, the present SSG to the Imo State Government when he declined the funding of the said proposal, on the excuse that he had no money to commit. The statement stated that “one wonders why anybody or group who are not known to the Assembly will make such a statement” adding that the group behind the publication are agents of Prof. Anwuka, Hon. Emma Amafili and Chief Chris Esoti, who are instigating “divide and rule” in the youth body. In the statement signed by the National President, Comrade Precious Nwadike, Comrade Kyrian Echerebo, secretary and Pastor Unegbu Victor Wallace, acting PRO, the group stated that it has issues to settle with the Governor and Commissioner for Youths and Sports adding that no amount of black mail and intimidation will force them not to contribute to the success of this Government.
