Freedom Day Celebration Commit Crime, Run To Freedom Square and Go Free, Okorocha Tells Imolites How Keke Riders Were Forced To Back Gov’s 2nd Term

The hallmark of the fast approaching freedom day on celebration in Imo is a verbal injunction instituted by the governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha who disclosed that people in Imo can commit crime and go free if they run to Freedom Square in the heart of the state capital, Owerri.
Okorocha further disclosed the permission to commit crime is only for that particular May 6, Freedom Day Celebration.
Speaking at an elaborate gathering dominated by keke operators the Governor stated that who ever found himself at Freedom Square will be set free provided his offence did not exceed 12noon.
Speaking further, the Governor revealed that he has ordered the release of all the seized kekenapep in Imo by the security operatives adding that May 6th celebration is in line with his rescue mission agenda in the state.
The Governor while addressing Keke operators on Tuesday at freedom square maintained that May 6th 2014 was the day he stood for the supplementary election that gave him victory and moreover it was the day that Imo people were actually relieved from the shackles of bondage, poverty and oppression, said keke people drummed support for him in 2011. Our reporter who visited the freedom square venue for the solidarity rally e said over 5,000 keke people were in attendance.
Further information disclosed that many of the keke operators were conscripted to join the rally as those who refused to join were punished in the process.
Trumpeta authoritatively learnt that not all the keke operators supported Okorocha’s second term bid as they stubborn ones were reported to have dodged the rally and went on with their businesses.
The Governor at the rally promised to do great things for the entire keke people apart from promising to take them to oversea trip, he hinted that their 10m (Ten Million) Naira soft loan will be increased, adding that the free loan will now be refectory so that it can get to everybody.
In his address at the freedom square after the road show of the pilots (keke operators), the president of the association, Comr. Austin Ojukwu recounted the many achievements of Imo governor and expressed support for the governor in 2015 election. He recounted the development stride of the governor which includes free education programme, road networks etc.
