The President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Jonathan has been described as an asset to Nigerian development, despite the plethora of criticisms coming from the opposition.
Speaking to Trumpeta, a Port Harcourt-based Business Mogul, Dr Uzoma Obiyo said that arm chair critics cannot derail the plan of President Goodluck Jonathan to put Nigeria on the path of development.
Obiyo wondered why any person or political party could crticise the Jonathan administration after the laudable achievements it has recorded, despite the bad shape it met Nigeria, pointing out that Jonathan has put Nigeria on a good stead for economic growth ever witnessed in the land.
The Chief Executive of Multinet hinted that Jonathan’s privitation of the power sector is a master stroke whose gain Nigerians will soon be reaping, adding that Nigerians should exhibit some patience with the Jonathan administration as the dividends will be stupendous.
Obiyo sued for peace and unity among members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Imo state, pointing out that he was optimistic that with the assumption of office by Bar Nnamdi Anyaehie as the new chairman, the party will achieve election successes in 2015, and urged all members to support the new chairman.
The Ikeduru born tycoon disclosed that the 2015 election is a battle Imo PDP must come out unscathed, stressing that all hands must be on deck for the party to regain its lost grounds, and regain the Douglas House again.
“Imo PDP is one family. Everybody must work hard for 2015 election. PDP can achieve this if everybody is on one page. That is why peace and unity are necessary for the party. And this can be achieved by supporting the chairman, Chief Anyaehie” Obiyo told Trumpeta.
