St Peters Clever Seminary Okpala will tomorrow Saturday February 15 hold its 2014 annual Inter House Sports.
Report reaching our sports desk revealed that the event will kick-off with a concelebrated high mass to be presided over by the Catholic Archbishop of Owerri Diocese, Most Rev Anthony J V Obinna who is also the host by 10am
The report further shows that shortly after the mass service, sporting activities of the event which includes football match, Relay race, High Jump, Badminton, Match Past among others will commence.
Meanwhile, the Rector of the Premier Institution Rev Fr Dr Joe Enyiaka will also use the opportunity to address parents, guardians and indeed friends of the School on the state of the Seminary.
Highlights of the one day event will be the award of prices and certificates to students and Houses who performed excellently at the event.

Nigeria Slump to 47th in February FIFA Ranking
The Super Eagles are now rated eight best in Africa after dropping to the forty-seventh position in the world
Nigeria’s senior national team dropped six places to 47th in the latest Fifa world ranking released on Thursday morning.
The African champions were adjudged the 41st best football playing team in the world according to the ranking released earlier in January.
Despite finishing in third position at the African Nations Championship in South Africa, Stephen Keshi men fell down the ladder in the monthly rituals by Fifa.
Cote d’Ivoire remain at the summit of African football with 841 points which put them in the 23rd position while CHAN runners up Ghana dropped 13 places to be ranked the 37th best team in the world and fourth in Africa.
Algeria moved to the second position on the continent after amassing 819 points which places them in the 26th spot in the world.
Spain, Germany and Argentina hold the first, second and third spots in the world respectively as 2014 Fifa World Cup hosts Brazil moved to the ninth spot in the world.
The Afcon holders, who finished third at the recent Chan event in South Africa, are placed eighth on the continent, behind Côte d’Ivoire, Algeria, Cape Verde, Ghana, Egypt, Tunisia and Cameroon.
Globally, world and European champions Spain, Germany and Argentina remain the top three teams.

Heartland Team Manager Welcomes New Baby Boy, Emmanuel
Heartland Fc Team Manager, Mr Promise Nwachukwu must count himself as the luckiest and happiest man on earth after welcoming into his family the arrival of his new bouncing baby boy (His second issue) last two weeks as well as getting the promise of His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha to pay 40% of their last season’s sign-on-fees.
Expressing his joy, the newest father in town, popularly known as “Nwa Mama” thanked God for blessing him and his family with a baby boy stating that the arrival of Emmanuel Nwachukwu has heralded a special blessing into the life of his family and that of Heartland Fc especially with the fulfillment of Gov Okorocha’s promise to pay them 40% of their sign-on-fees as well as increasing their Monthly Subventions to enable them execute their programs effectively.
He however, thanked Gov Okorocha and the back-to-back Commissioner, Com Kenneth Emelu for answering to their call and fulfilling their promise adding that the team shall reciprocate to the kind gesture by ensuring that they do well in this season’s NPFL and Federation Cup Competition in other to restore the lostglories.
Heartland Fc on Monday February 10 received the most interesting piece of news after about 8 Months when the Gov through his Commissioner of Sports announced the part payment of their sign-on-fees (40%) and increment of their Monthly subvention in readiness for the new season.
The Team is expected to begin their league campaign against Dolphins of Port Harcourt on Sunday February 23 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.
