Prof Njoku Lifts Catholic Youths, As Bishop Obinna Confirms Candidates

One of the Imo State gubernatorial hopeful whose performance as the Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Technology, FUTO is still acclaimed to be unraveled, Prof Jude Njoku has played the role of a firm believer, able and ready to help, as he has sponsored over 10 youths during a high mass celebrated by the catholic Archbishop of Owerri, His Grace Archbishop AJV Obinna.
The ceremony was held at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Chaplaincy Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) on February 2, 2014 where several Youths received the Sacrament of Confirmation administered on them by His Grace himself during which he urged the recipients of the sacrament of confirmation to abide by the ideal of the catholic faith.
However, the ceremony also witnessed the send forth of the 2008 set of graduating students as well as the blessing of the new residence of the catholic chaplain. Present were the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. C.C Asiabaka and his wife, principal officers of the university as well as the Dean, Directors and Head of Department of the Institution.
Prof. Njoku in his address during the ceremony described himself as a staunch catholic, born and bred by devout catholic parents. Prof. Jude Njoku who was also appointed the Chief sponsor of those confirmed with was also in his capacity as a devoute catholic, Knight of the Catholic Church and papal medallion who maintained that he will continue to help the candidates along the road of Christian life, to safe guard and develop the grace now sealed in the Holy Spirit.
