In a bid to educate and sensitize the citizenry on the need to embrace the wind of change in the great All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), a frontline politician under the platform of APGA and the hopeful representative of Isu State Constituency in Imo House of Assembly come 2015, Hon Uju Okoro has reiterated the need for the Igbos to relegate the fundamentalist party, APC.
Hon Uju expressed dismay on how some of South East states are supporting APC, knowing fully well that right from the scratch, the Yorubas and some of the Northerners have been a thorn in the flesh of the Igbos which started during the civil war. He further said that recently, the Ibos were subjected to slavery in their hands, while some were butchered for no tangible reason that could be deciphered, stressing that hence the political setting is concerned in the country and Imo State, APC is as good as dead which will never get any support to be in position come 2015.
He further maintained that in other states, it is only in Imo that APC is clamouring like “an arrested bandit”, thereby creating a fake information that the party has come to stay whether good or bad in the state. Hon Uju beckoned that no Imolite nor an Igbo man should be deceived with macabre dance of deceit and sycophancy which some stakeholders of All Progressives Congress are parading themselves with.
Enumerating the imperatives, the former TC under Okorocha’s administration regretted the high rate at which some of the so called citizens are displaying their ingratitude towards all the struggles and contributions of the late hero, Dim Ikemba Odimegwu Ojukwu whom according to him fought for the freedom of the Igbos which raised the lingering problem of whether Biafra is dead or will still be deliberated upon, maintaining that if Ojukwu had a bad intention towards Nigeria, especially Igbos, he would not have made such undying accolades he grabbed for himself. Hon Uju however urged all well meaning Imolites to neglect all antics of APC.
In a similar development, the IMHA hopeful disclosed that come rain come sunshine, APGA still retains her 1st position in the political hierarchy of the nation and the state. “I enjoin the citizens of Nigeria to vote PDP for President Jonathan’s second tenure, and all other positions down to Imo Douglas House should go to APGA as they are the only people to bring the true dividends of democracy. I maintain that APGA is indomitable come 2015” Hon Uju concluded.
