A serving commissioner in Imo State, (names withheld) should better enroll as a trainee pugilist with the ministry of sports for the purposes of representing Imo state in boxing competitions.
The commissioner who is among the member of Okorocha’s kitchen cabinet and a man with whom the Governor is will pleased and from Owerri zone has turned him siblings into punching bag anytime there is friction in the family necessitated by minor disagreements.
Trumpeta learn that trouble started between the commissioner and his brother (names withheld) when he was summoned to give account of how he spent the funds released to him for some projects of the state which the commissioner is handling. The brother who acted as a smokescreen after given a detail of expenditure of funds, the unsatisfied commissioner accused the younger brother of misapplication and appropriation of funds which aggrieved the young man to insist that the account was correct. The enraged commissioner bounced on the brother and almost strangled him before the intervention of their younger sister
It was further disclosed that the in-temperament commissioner, with knack for public fight did not take kindly to the sister’s intervention, gave the young girl a beating of her life in the presence of members of the state security operatives before the commissioner threw out their personal effects out of the commissioner quarters.
When contacted on phone, the commissioner debunked the allegation as baseless claiming that nothing of such happened.
He noted that he has the best of relationship with members of his family. At the same vein calls to his brother to get his reaction proved abortive as his line was said to be switched off.
Meanwhile a group from Owerri Zone under the aegis of Owerri Zone Youths Forum has berated those they described as self serving politician from Owerri Zone in the Rescue Mission administration of Owelle Okorocha for their incessant and mischievous media attacks on Sir Jude Ejiogu the Chief of Staff Government House and Commissioner for Special Duties.
In a statement made public by the trio of Barr Uzoma Chinenye, President, Dr Jude Okwuona, Secretary and Comr Chinaka Okechukwu, PRO of the association, the group has warned politicians to desist from witch-hunting the able performing and reliable advocate of the Rescue Mission, Dr Sir Jude Ejiogu who they said has brought decorum in governance.
The group noted that the principal officers who are working in the rescue mission government are planning to use the instrumentality of the media to portray Sir Jude Ejiogu as corrupt, wicked and non social leader in order to score cheap political relevance before Governor Okorocha who has a sound working relationship with the Owerri North born politician.
The group therefore called on the detractors to desist or face the wrath of Youths of Owerri Zone.
