A former Member of the House of Representative and female politician, Hon Chief Juliet Obasi Akano has been endorsed by youths of Orlu Zone to represent the Senatorial District in the Upper National Assembly.
In a communiqué issued after an endorsement letter granted to Hon Obasi and made available to Trumpeta, the youth body comprising student leaders from the zone extolled Hon Akano’s outstanding performance and rich political profile in lawmaking when she represented Isu, Njaba, Nkwerre and Nwangele Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
According to the endorsement signed by various arms of youth leaders, Akano has the capacity to represent the area in the Senate taking into consideration that “She rendered her constituents strong voice, protected their interest, ensured the actualization of their reliance, hope and aspiration.
“As a passionate woman full of love, she made solemn efforts to attract federal presence in her constituency that made her very close to her people”.
On why Akano stands tall among equals warming up for the 2015 Senate position for Orlu Zone, the youth leaders have these to say “Chief Hon Juliet Akano is a woman of substance and great achiever, visionary wife and daughter of Orlu born in Oguta LGA married in Orlu, is a grassroots politician and accessible”.
The endorsement signed by not less than 100 youth leaders added that Akano “is tested, trusted and determined to serve her people in all aspect of political endeavours”.
