The Executive Secretary of theNigeriaPremier league board has stated that the NPL games will resume on Saturday after a break to allow for the Federation Cup Matches.
“We have concluded plans to resume the league this Saturday July 28 with week 35 fixtures. The date stands but we would have to change it if the NFF fixes the federation cup semi – final for that weekend,” Babalola said.
Meanwhile Heartland football club of Owerri who are still involved in the on – going Fed. Cup games are expected to travel toKadunafar a league tie with Kaduna United on Thursday. It is a rescheduled league match.
