Obiyo Donates Building To Anglican Church

Anglican Church faithfuls in Umuezem Nneise Uguri-Ike Autonomous Community in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State are perceiving fresh breathe following the new building that was erected by one of the MTN Directors Chief (Dr) Uzoma Obiyo.
Presiding over the foundation laying and dedication ceremony of the building on the Tuesday 17th December, 2013, the Bishop of Ikeduru, Bishop Emma Mdauwuike posited that the key foundation layer is the Almighty God.
Bishop Maduwike prayed to God to take charge of the building.
“Though, the building has been completed but today is the foundation laying and dedication ceremony of this building. Nobody can lay foundation without Jesus Christ. The Almighty God remains the beginning and end of this church tower. “No segregation in the church of God. Somebody from Atta may choose to worship in this church. God has purpose for everything”, he added. The priest thanked Dr Obiyo for donating such magnificent building to the Anglican chapel adding that Chief (Dr) Obiyo has indeed contributed to the work of God.
In his speech, Chief (Dr) Uzoma Obiyo who is also the founder of Samuel-Mary and Dane Emily Obiyo foundation explained that his reason for erecting the church tower for his people was to appreciate the goodness of the Almighty God in his life.
Chief Obiyo noted that the only way to show appreciation of the handi-work of God in his endeavours is to embark on such project. He thanked God for keeping him and family alive adding that he has committed himself in serving God throughout his life time.One of the Anglican faithful in the area Chief HOC Anyanwu who spoke with Trumpeta reporter, thanked Chief Obiyo for building the church tower for then adding that he has taken away the burder that has been stressing the whole Anglican faithfuls in the area.
