The Re-appointed Commissioner for Lands and Survey Hon. Uche Nwosu recently condemned parents who send their wards on street hawking as he called on them to take advantage of the free education scheme of the Imo state Rescue Mission Government of Rochas Okorocha.
The Commissioner for Lands and Survey disclosed this while inaugurating the Nkwerre Local Government Chapter of” Rochas Voters Club” at the Council headquarters of Nkwerre LGA.
Honorable Commissioner Uche Nwosu in his statement explained the importance of voters and voters right, charging members of the club to represent and secure their mandate and that of their polling unit, he urged the Local Government Co-ordinator of the club in Nkwerre to make effort in identifying with members by visiting all the boots and wards within the local government area.
Uche Nwosu further disclosed that funds had been released for the rehabilitation of more roads in the state which will commence before the end of December 2013
The Commissioner also noted that every political appointee of the present administration must be a member of the Rochas Voters Club as he urged members to get back to work, he discouraged members from decamping to other political parties as he assured members that the support.
Highpoints of the event was the official inauguration of the Nkwerre local government co-ordinator, ward chairmen, women and youth leader by the Commissioner Uche Nwosu.
