CGC Security Motorcycles Wahala: Oguta Monarchs Reject SOLAD, Petition Rochas Over Attack On Ndi Eze

SOLAD
This is not the best moments for the Sole Administrator of Oguta Local Government Area, Hon Henry Igbomezie, who is facing serious sanctions from traditional rulers of Oguta Local Government Area.
Following the alleged ill-manner he handled the distribution of security motorcycles, the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha made available to all the autonomous communities in the state, the Monarchs in his area have henceforth resolved to boycott any and all functions by the SOLAD.
In a letter addressed to the Governor by the concerned Ezes numbering ten, Igbomezie was accused of unruly behaviour against them during the distribution of the security motorcycles.
According to the Ezes, the Oguta SOLAD allegedly “brought in thugs and well known common criminals not only to insult but also assault the traditional rulers with a view to creating confusion in order to allow these thugs to loot and forcibly snatch away the motorcycles but for the mature intervention by Eze Imo.
“During the distribution of the security motorcycles, the Oguta Sole Administrator, Hon. Henry Igbomezie, brought in thugs and well known common criminals not only to Insult but also to assault the traditional rulers with a view to creating confusion in order to allow these thugs to loot and forcibly snatch away the motorcycles but for the mature intervention by Eze Imo. But in spite of the counseling and advice by Eze Imo, Hon. Henry Igbomezie was obdurate and went ahead to instigate the thugs to attack the traditional rulers physically and verbally unleashing a mayhem culminating in fisticuffs and other materials brought in for that purpose which resulted in injuries to some of the co-odinators and some of the personal assistants to some of the traditional rulers. This happen because the SOLAD was bent on countermanding the directives of His HRH Eze B A E Nwauwa and HRH Felix Ihezie Ononuju for daring to question his action. He vowed to send his thugs after these traditional rulers.
“While the traditional rulers are working tirelessly in spreading and propagating the gospel of the Rescue Mission some over-zealous politicians in the LGA are working at cross purposes and building up their personal followership which is not for the common good”.
While adding that it has lost confidence in Hon Igbomezie as their safety and security can no longer be guaranteed by the Oguta SOLAD, the Monarchs namely Ezejiofor, Nze-Enyiche, Muforo, Okorowu, Ogbuehi, Azubuike, Nwauwa, Ononuju, Obierofu and Emetuma added that “we have resolved that until we recover from the shock and trauma inflicted on us by this attack, we shall boycott any and all functions by the Oguta SOLAD as he has no iota of regard for us. His disregard for the traditional institution came to the fore after he had lost out in his bid to make his brother the Eze of Umunwama Izombe”.
When contacted, Igbomezie said that he is innocent of all the allegations leveled against him adding that they are all lies based on hatred and envoy.
Hon Igbomezie further stated that anybody wishing to know the real facts as how the motorcycles were distributed should come to Oguta and ascertain from the villagers. “I did not distribute any motorcycle, so whoever that is clamouring that I did should be queried”, Igbomezie claimed.
