IBC Should Open doors for Opposition Parties Access to its Facility Hon Ekechi

Commission for information & strategy Hon TOE Ekechi has made it clear to staff and management of IBC that they should open door for opposition parties access to its facility.
He stated these during an interactive meeting with the management and staff of IBC on Monday 18th November 2013, to increase revenue for the ministry.
Speaking during his interactive section meeting at IBC, Dr Ekechi noted that the corporation was establish to spread justified news in the radio and television to enlighten the people around the world, therefore opposition parties allowed use the state media house this he said will increase the IGR of the cooperation.
Hon Ekechi urged the staff of the cooperation to always move the state forward through their media projection. He further enjoined IBC workers to keep on supporting Gov Okorocha’s policies and programmes stating that the Governor has done very wonderful within two and half years in office.
Furthermore Dr Ekechi extolled His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha and the Director General Evang. Esther Ubong Egbuna who was recently by the state Governor.
He also assured IBC of financial relief noting that His Excellency Owelle Okorocha will continue to uplift the corporation financially.
Responding, Director General of IBC, Evang. Esther Ebong Egbuna Expressed satisfaction over the visit of the commissioner and beckoned on the Rescues Mission Governor of Imo state to assist the staff more especially those who are always working in day and might shifts to ensure effective broadcasting.
However, she described Dr Ekechi as a true commissioner that came to rescue the ministry of information and Imo state entirely. He also Described media as the 4th estate of the realm.
Hon commissioner called on the staff to be objective in their reporting so as to be in the forefront of the of political and democratic relationship between the press and the people.
