Okorocha Has Developed Okigwe Zone -Fin Commissioner

The Imo State Commissioner for Finance, Deacon Chike Okafor has stated that Governor Rochas Okorocha has shown so much care and love to the people of Okigwe zone.
Deacon Okafor stated this during his birthday celebration championed by the Grassroot support for God Governance, Obowo chapter, held at Okenalowo secondary School in Obowo LGA of Imo State.
He noted that Gov Okorocha has so far exhibited sportsmanship to the people of Okigwe zone despite all the upheaves by the opposition, adding that his achievements will always speak for him.
Deacon Okafor further maintained that since his appointment as commissioner for finance, he has performed his duties diligently, stressing that he has never been found wanting in any way.
He also used the occasion to distribute about 66 motorcycles to three persons in each autonomous community in Obowo LGA plus cash to support them in their businesses.
Deacon Okafor pledged to work in harmony with the Governor, while advising the people of the zone to support Okorocha’s govt in order to attract more developments in the area and encouraged the beneficiaries of motorcycles to make use of its judiciously.
In his speech, the Governor who was represented by his Chief of staff, Sir Jude Ejiogu noted that Deacon Okafor has done well and advised him to continue his good works.
He averred that he would sponsor the procurement of additional five motorcycles to the ones already provided by Deacon Okafor as a way of showing solidarity to the celebrant.
Contributing, an indigene of the area and son of the former civilian Governor of Imo State, Chief Alex Mbakwe noted that Obowo has never had it so good until Deacon Okafor came on board, adding that the commissioner has lived up to the expectations of the people.
