The wife of Chief Chidi Felix Idiaga, Lolo Mrs Chinyere Idiga, has encouraged the women of Orlu Senatoral Zone to be catalysts for societal change.
Mrs Idiga gave the admonition recently at their palatial home in Orlu LGA, Imo State, while addressing the virtuous women of Orlu Senatorial Zone for JAFAC who paid them familiarization visit.
She explained that the aim of the familiarization meeting was to intimate the women of substance of her husband’s political vision, a vision which she said will bring positive social and political change. She added that JAFAC needs active, courageous, virtuous and sincere women who will help him realize his political ambition in 2015.
“We need moral, courageous mothers who have the ability to stand firm and help bring about economic, social,political chage in the senatorial zone,” Mrs Idiga, affirms.
While speaking on the importance of being caring and submissive mothers, Lolo Chinyere Idiga charged the women to always care and respect their husbands as to live in peace, harmony and prosperously, saying women for JAFAC must be the mirror that reflects the light. She also told them to be loving and truthful, as epitome of love and motherhood, and to train their children in the fear of God. She thanked the virtuous women for their love and support, promising not to let them down.
In their separate remarks, the legal adviser to Ohaneze Ndigbo, Barr Ijeoma Igboanusi, Mrs Regina Anushiem, Hon Mrs Nneka Muoneke, Nneoma Ann Nnenna Obioha, maintained that the Orlu Senatorial Prudent Women for JAFAC’s gathering was to familiarize with their mentor urging the women to work in synergy to achieve common goal for the growth of our land. They described the Idigas as pragmatic, kind, humble and God-fearing.
Similarly, a group of Orlu senatorial zone students also paid a courtesy visit to JAFAC. The students who spoke through their leaders, Okechukwu Osinachi (President, IMSU), Senator Iheme Joy (VP, IMSU), Elochukwu Okoro, pledged their total support to Chief Chidi Idiga’s political agenda, describing him as an unassuming philanthropist.
While addressing the students, the founder of JAFAC Foundation, Chief Chidi Idiga, advised the students to always take their studies serious and never allow dubious and unrepentant politicians to buy them with money.
He maintained that his plan in polities was to help, empower Imo youths who are the bright futures of tomorrow.
Chief Idiga frowned the attitude of some rich people who toil with the future of the youths who come from poor homes, while promising to work with them at all times. He expressed gratitude to God for His grace, thanking the students for their visit and total support.
