Youthful but veteran Journalist and Publisher of Horn Newspaper, Imo State, High Chief Bright Chimezie Njoku has thrown his hat into the ring for the Okigwe North Federal Constituency battle in 2015 elections.
Speaking to Journalists in Owerri, he said he was disappointed with the track records of the previous holders of the position, and promised to do better if voted into office.
He maintained that service to the people is his driving force, even as he stated that time has come for change, pointing out that the people have resolved to put a person who will deliver the dividends of democracy to the masses, which is his dream and focus.
Chief Chimezie who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, if he succeeds in his ambition, will represent Okigwe, Onuimo and Isiala Mbano LGAs, which makes up Okigwe North Federal Constituency.
Chimezie who is optimistic of picking the ticket after PDP primaries, appealed to the people of the Constituency to support him, as he will not fail to give quality representation of the constituency at the Green Chamber.
Many Media Chief Executives were present at the Briefing where they paid solidarity to their colleague and promised to give him every support to succeed in his ambition.
