The people of Nwangele LGA have endorsed Hon Ugonna Ozuruigbo, member representing Nwangele State Constituency, in the Imo House of Assembly for a second term.
At a well attended constituency briefing organized by Hon. Ozurigbo which took place at the council headquarters, Amigbo on Thursday 24th October, 2013, all concerned citizens of the area after carefully reviewing the lawmakers stewardship, unanimously stressed that there is need to return him for a second term.
Highlighting his achievements, Hon Ugonna Ozurigbo disclosed that he has achieved the following; building of staff quarters at Ogwuaga Health Centre with a standby 5KVA Generator for efficient power supply, building of 35 shops in the ultra modern market at Dim-Na-Nume, construction of two culverts at Eluowerre Ubahu and Umuezealaopi Amaigbo, building of town Hall Umudurueze Umuozu which is 99% completed, reconstruction and drilling of solar-power borehole at Nkwonyeukwu market Abajah, renovation of Umunakara community Government Council Hall, the on-going building of CGC Hall at Abaja, drilling of borehole at Umuchoke Umuozu, on-going construction of Ultra modern market blocks at Chineke Amaigbo and distribution of over three thousand cell phones and MTN lines to the indigenes of the area.
According to him, other achievements include donation of 9 utility vehicles to Nwangele indigenes, six wheel chairs to disabled persons, 87 motorcycles to Nwangele youths, direct empowerment of 355 people monthly, empowerment of 110 people of Nwangele with the sum of ten thousand naira each to improve their petty business, donation of musical equipment to a disabled Nwangele indigene from Umuduruneke Umuorlu Isu among other giant strides.
The lawmaker enumerated the importance of the bills and motions he has sponsored at the hallowed chambers of the State House of Assembly since inception of office.
Speaking with Journalists, the Sole Administrator of Nwangele LGA, Hon Lady Happiness Nwaogaraku applauded the lawmaker for his laudable achievements, adding that OZB despite his party PDP had actually distributed the dividends of democracy to every nook and cranny of Nwangele via present rescue mission administration in Imo state led by His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
