Chief Chyna Iwuanyanwu, a veteran journalist, media consultant and politician has blamed the under development and low democracy dividend of the nation on the political and social discrimination of the political leaders in respect to party, religion and ethnic affiliations. He call on politicians to always respect one another.
His style of politics played out recently when he drew people of different religion and political affiliations to his home town Amuzi Isu, Dim na Nume Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo state for the dedication of New Covenant Anglican Church which he co-built with his son and donated to the Anglican community of Amuzi Isu.
The ceremony witnessed a large turnout of religious leaders from different denomination like Catholics, Methodist, Protestants, Pentecostal and even Ezes and title men and women and traditionalist.
The political parties were not left out as PDP, APCs APGAs, UPP members were all present to mention but a few. Feelers gathered by this newspaper have it that, had the present leaders/government in Imo imbibed the same political/leadership philosophy of Chief Iwuanyanwu, Imo would have remained one big united, and peaceful family and a soft landing ground for dividends of democracy, with less or no litigation against the government.
However, speaking to newsmen is his compound, the veteran journalist averred that his ability to draw all the people with different ideology to the dedication is because he is a detribalized politician who does not play or believe in politics of bitterness. In his word “True politicians do not discriminate only political jobbers do”
