The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Imo State in its effort to further strengthen its frontiers ahead of 2015 has given their unalloyed support to the National Leadership of the party under Alhaji Bamanga Tukur.
Furthermore, the State Chapter has expressed its total support and loyalty to President Goodluck Jonathan and his quest for re-election in 2015.
Rising from its enlarged state executive meeting at the party secretariat at 47 Okigwe road over the weekend, the party maintained, “…we unequivocally restate our support to the National Leadership of our great party under the Leadership of His Excellency Alhaji Dr. Bamanga Turkur and Members of the National Executive Committee of our party”.
“That the Imo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party hereby affirms her unflinching loyalty and support for His Excellency Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR President, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Leader of our great party in the mature and able way he is piloting not only the affairs of our beloved country Nigeria but also the re-engineering of our great party the Peoples Democratic Party for genuine electoral successes”
Insisting that the party in Imo State is one United and indivisible family with members and leaders operating on the same page, the State Chairman and Secretary, Chief Eze Duruiheoma (SAN) and Sir George Egu in the communiqué averred.
“That the Imo State Chapter of our great party is in Constant Communication with out representatives in the National Assembly and appointees of the Federal Government and hereby commends them for not only standing in solidarity with our beloved president and the National Leadership of our party, but affirming our position herein”.
