The Traditional Ruler of Ogbor autonomous community and Chairman of Okigwe Council of Ndi-Eze, His Royal Highness Eze Mathew Onweni at the 2015 women August meeting held at the weekend at the open field of the local government head quarters, Umuelemia, declared that Okigwe zone is in support for Rochas Okorocha’s involvement in the All progressive Congress (APC) and advised him to run for the Vice Presidents ticket in 2015.
He further stated that Okigwe zone will in this respect complete their tenure at Douglas House under an agreement which he will be a signatory of and would not exceed the four remaining years, adding that this would be achieved by an APC Candidate. He congratulated the Imo state First Lady, Mrs. Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha in her bid to put smiles on the faces of women in Isiala-Mbano and Imo state, through her pet projects and the August meetings.
Speaking at the event, SOLAD Isiala Mbano LGA, Dr. Nnanna Uzodinma said the First Lady has indeed achieved the sole aim of this years August meeting with the theme; “Managing Stress And Unity Of Purpose”, adding that this years unique event had never been this good as women of Isiala Mbano and Imo state have had the rare opportunity to interact with the First lady. He advised women and good Imolites to be law-abiding as they now have the ample opportunity to benefit from the Rescue Mission Administration through the establishment of the CGC in Imo state.
