The Honourable Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Prof Mrs. Viola Onwuliri has condemned the rampant construction of round abouts stating that too many of it is equal to total crash of traffic.
Mrs Onwuliri made this disclosure during a press briefing held on Tuesday, 13th August 2013. at the NUJ Centre along Port Harcourt, Owerri .
Prof Onwuliri further stated that it is unfortunate that our people have been dragged to fruitless venture by some individuals to be abandoned midway in pursuit of personal vain and glory. She reiterated that our people been used in pursuit of personal vaulting ambitions of one man who abandons us at any pleasurable point he may have achieved his desired selfish goals.
Mrs Onwuliri reminded our people not to forget, “We were called out to join UNCP and were abandoned midway”, she further stated that we were also called to join ANPP and were abandoned halfway for AA. She added that we were agained halfway for AA as a promised land midway we were abandoned in AA and we neither saw the promised land nor self acclaimed prophet explained to us why he abandoned the ship midway into the ocean. She further said our so called messiah found favours in PDP only to abandon it again for APGA.
Hon. Onwuliri stated it is ridiculous therefore that this self acclaimed Moses has presently abandoned APGA and is calling our people again to join him in another wild goose chase under new name called APC.
“How can we turn our destiny to this man who cannot be trusted in any venture? She asked how are we sure that this time around we shall not only be abandoned but consumed in hell fire. She urged everybody to reject the unstable movement and present call for all to join a new party.
Mrs Onwuliri further stated that PDP is where Nigeria are. She added that the present government under the PDP will surely guarantee the full enthronement and entrenchment of Igbos into leadership of this country.
