An erstwhile minister of the federal republic of Nigeria, Capt Emmanuel Ihenacho has declared that the people of Imo state is undergoing an induced suffering inflicted on them by bad and incompetent government leadership.
The Emekuku born oil magnet emphasized that the bad situation is caused by leaders without people oriented programmes and road maps, people who came to enrich themselves at the expense of the citizenry. He also submitted that those kinds of leaders are results of circumstance, therefore are referred to as opportunists.
The 2015 Guber hopeful, submitted that Imo people needs authentic rescue and urgently too, not theoretical discourse. He went further to say that he will be the alternative for that positive change of authentic rescue because he has long outlines his people-oriented programmes for that change.
Capt Ihenacho advised Imo electorate to disregard political jobbers and insist on Aspirants/Candidates with people-oriented programmes and road map, clean antecedent/record with a very good knowledge of the history of the state.
Continuing, the ex-minister argues that the priority of Imo people is job opportunities and promise to handle that perfectly well because he is an employer of labour. He maintained that education without employment is useless, that can lead to frustration and crime.
The former Minister of Interior wondered why a leader will be dancing and clapping for himself when his subjects can hardly feed, pay house rent or hospital bill. In his words “Our people are suffering because of leaders don’t have programmes, that is why am the best alternative, because I have a workable programe, that will centre on job creation and youth employment which the centre of development and authentic rescue”.
