Group backs Okorocha on Rescue Mission

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has been commended and showered encomium by Awo-Omma Patriotic Union (APU) Abuja chapter.
Speaking at the meeting, Engr. Okechukwu, chairman of the Union, stressed that they have not seen such unprecedented infrastructural development scattered in all the nooks and crannies of the state as done by Okorocha’s administration since the creation of Imo State and called for the support of Imolites for the performing governor.
Engr. Okechukwu further stated that Okorocha is a God sent to salvage the state from the shackles of poor governance of the past.
Responding, the Secretary General of the Union, Barrister Obinna Augustus Amagwula highlighted some of the achievements of the present administration ranging from free education granted to Imolites from Primary, Secondary and tertiary levels. Barr. Amagwula stated that Okorocha is not a propagandist who does not make vain promises.
He appreciated the Governor for the construction of Awo-Omamma/Okwudor road which was in dilapidated state for long. He also thanked His Excellency for appointing their worthy son as a SOLAD in the person of Hon. Donatus Ejifugha and Mrs. Nma Michael Nzeribe SSA on MDG among others and enjoined everybody to be supportive to the Rescue Mission Government.
In a similar note, the patron of the union, Chief Dan Onongaya expressed his delight for Gov. Okorocha, Prince Eze Madumere the Deputy and all in the Rescue Mission. Chief Onongaya pledged his unflinching support to the rescue mission agenda. As the union passed vote of confidence on the governor, for his innumerable achievements.
