ISOPADEC Floats Transport Agency .As MD Partners Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta Journalist,

Transport reprieve is on the way for people of Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta as the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, ISOPADEC has concluded arrangements to float a mass transit scheme.

 

The Managing Director of the Interventionist Agency, Prince Dr Henry Okafor, made this known during an interactive session with journalists of Ohaji, Egbema and Oguta extraction.

 

According to Dr Okafor, it has become imperative for the commission to diversify in provision of social services to oil producing areas in the state. The MD said that in the spirit of Rescue Mission, it is the resolve of the present leadership of ISOPADEC to touch the lives of the people in different ways.

 

“The ISOPADEC transport scheme is geared towards alleviating the sufferings encountered by the people of Ohaji, Egbema and Oguta in their movements. It shall help people of the area in enhancing effective movements.

 

While reeling out its achievements so far, Dr Okafor disclosed that there are several incentives from the interventionist agency to make life better for the oil producing communities.

 

The Managing Director therefore sought the assistance and cooperation of Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta Journalists, adding that such strategic partners would contribute to better the lives of the people.

 

Dr Okafor noted that while sustaining existing structures like the TROMPCOM, (Traditional Rulers of Oil Mineral Producing Communities), ISOPADEC Youths, he has been able to create ISOPADEC women since a year he took over and about instituting synergy between ISOPADEC and the newsmen.

 

He solicited for the support and cooperation of the media workers from oil producing areas adding that such union shall go along way to promote the affairs of the LGA.
