A Nigerian, and United Kingdom based legal practitioner, Sir Barrister Chibuzo Ubochi said he is not a part-time worker in God’s Kingdom.
Speaking to Journalist in Orlu on Sunday following four days synod of St. Mary’s Anglican Church Communion of Nigeria Okporo Orlu, Orlu LGA, Imo State, to mark her 10th synod of Orlu Diocese the Anglican Church synod started in 1984 and is the highest policy making body of the church.
Barr Ubochi who contributed to the synod said he is a disciple of Christ who works in the ministry department of Christ Kingdom Centra his speech on” I was standing on Christ, the Solid Rock” to address the church told the synod that “when I serve God I serve him full time- I am no part-timer in the service of church”.
He emphasized that the Orlu Diocese synod is special because it was held on Pentecost Sunday he captioned it “Synod on Pentecost, and synod on fire”. He appreciated the deputy speaker of House of Representatives who was at the synod uninvited.
The knight of Anglican Communion commended the very Rev BC Okeke, parish priest of St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Okporo. Orlu, and the most Rev BCI Okoro PHD, the Bishop Emeritus of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province, for their wisdom and pragmatism.
Barr Ubochi averred that Gay marriage is not condoned in Anglican Church, but the consecration of women Bishops permissible in the church. Stating that knighthood is not only for the rich or the poor, but for those who have distinguished themselves in the service of humanity.
He advised legal practitioners in Nigeria to have passion in their job and be fair in the jurisprudence, as money will come after justice. described the late Prof Chinua Achebe as one who had distinguished him self in the service of mankind.
