Orluzurumee Exco Inspects Projects in Oru East

he members and National Executives of Orluzurumee on Friday, 10th May, 2013 stormed Oru East Local Government Area, Imo State on an inspection tour of roads and projects in the area undertaken by  Governor Okorocha’s Administration. The crew was led by the President General, Hon. Chief Chime Nzeribe among other dignitaries.

In his welcome speech  at the chairman’s office, the Sole Administrator (SOLAD) of Oru East, Hon. Chief Donatus Ejifugha, acknowledged the presence of everyone including the Ezes in Orlu zone, for making the trip  worthwhile. Chief Ejifugha used the opportunity to take them round the entire roads of Oru East begining from Akatta/Akuma road linking to Awo Idemti, Orlu LGA, Ubaha Akatta road leading to Umuaebu heading to Orsu, Okporo-Akatt road leading to Hon. Barr. Greg Okemilis house, Awo-Omamma/Okwudor road, Amiri/Omuma road.

Speaking, the SOLAD commended the rate of works on the roads, saying most of them needs good drainage system. Chief Ejifugha said that some projects were abandoned by the past regime but are now under completion barely a year and eight months of Rochas Okorocha’s tenure. Chief Donatus urged everyone in the state never to be deceived by mere fantacies or sweet words as the Rescue Mission government is really God’s sent and needs their maximum support in all ramifications

Responding, the president General of Orluzurumee, Chief Chime Nzeribe stated that the motive for the inspection is to justify what people are saying about Governor Rochas Okorocha, and unequivocally said that the Governor’s achievements is highly noted and observed by  well reasoning individuals.  Chief Dr. Chris Esiobu, the vice president of Orluzurumee said that Oru East was the first to be visited by the National Executives because it is in the heart of Imo and Anambra states, stressing that Orluzurumee is not a political party but an organization that protects the interest of its members.

In another vote of thanks, all the traditional rulers of Orlu zone present made separate speeches. The traditional ruler of Etiti-Omuma, HRH Eze Dr. Godspower O.B Okaforanyanwu.
