David Tyavkase Still A Heartland
Player _ Cajethan Nkwopara
Contrary to the news making round in some quarters that veteran attacking midfielder David Tyavkase has dumped Heartland fc of Owerri, the management has quickly debunked the report claiming it’s a false news.
Reacting to the news, the media officer of back-to-back Federation cup champions Mr. Cajethan Nkwopara, denied that the one-time player of Enyimba fc and Lobi Stars of Makurdi has left the Naze Millionaires.
Few days ago some of the national dallies carried the news that Tyavkase who joined Heartland at the end of last season has dumped the cash strapped team that was recently dumped out of the caf confederation cup games due to irregularities in their logistics planning
“At the close of week 9 window last Friday, there was no request on Tyavkase by any club.
“I’M aware his manager complained about sign-on fee issue and we are doing our best to handle it,” Heartland’s Media Officer narrated.
Meanwhile, another report reaching Trumpeta sports desk also states that David travelled to attend to some domestic issues and is expected back as soon as the matter is taking care of.
Just recently the former GM of Heartland fc, Chief Fan Ndubuoke, granted an interview to straighten facts surrounding his absence in some of the home matches of the team. He also used the opportunity to inform the media of his new statute as the Chairman of the club.
He however stated that the team needs financial support to enable it reach its objectives this season. He continued that with his position as the chairman of the club, private investors can now listen to him for sponsorship.
On the rescheduled week 8 NPFL game between Kano Pillars and Heartland which was moved to Abuja, Cajethan also stated that the management of Heartland are still studding and weighing the options of the LMC ruling concerning the Pillars game.
At the time of filing this report Heartland were stilled locked in a battle for three points against Bayelsa United in Yenegoa, Bayelsa State.
