Piqued by alleged marginalization policy of the Imo state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who has severally schemed him out of the party for unknown reasons, the Emekuku-born oil magnet and former Minister of Interior, Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho has said that he will defy odds to run the 2015 Governorship election in PDP.
Impeccable source close to the Captain told Trumpeta that the former minister since the last dispensation has tried to ignore some of the alleged negative actions of the PDP at the state level which are obvious neglect and insult on the personality of Captain Iheanacho.
He said that part of such obvious neglect is the formation of various committees of the party in the state where the party did not consider him capable and necessary to serve in any of the committees.
Another point of mention is the formation and constitution of chairmen and members of federal boards which he also claimed was deliberately not consulted by the PDP state leadership for nomination of members.
Our source also said that Captain Iheanacho alleged that most of the PDP state activities including meetings have continued without the extension of invitations to him in any manner or form in the recent time.
All these actions Captain Iheanacho claimed are deliberate acts aimed at shutting him out of the party, pointing out that as a committed and loyal member of the party, that he will contest the 2015 Governorship primaries under the PDP.
He however, advised his supporters and followers to remain calm in the face of all these provocations adding that as a loyal party man he will always do his best for the progress of the party.
