One time Deputy Auditor General of Imo State, Ezeji Solomon Eze of Oboama, Ezi West in Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State is dead.
Before his death, he was also the Imo State Chairman of the Association of the National Accountant of Nigeria (ANAN), member of the Chartered Institute of Management of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
He was also the Government Liaison Officer (GLO) for Oboama community.
Speaking on the life and times of late Ezeji, one of his in laws, Ben Osuagwu described the demise of late Solomon Eze as a terrible loss to the people of Umuatum Oboama, Ezi West and the society at large.
He added that late Ezeji was a philanthropist, a dynamic unassuming young man imbued with wisdom who dedicated his life to humanity.
Osuagwu noted that his humble style of living attracted several awards and chieftaincy titles in his community such as Uzodinma 1 of Oboama autonomous community, enyioma of Amato Amaraku, Isiala Mbano, Ezi Nwa Nwere ugwu of queen of peace catholic parish Oboama Ezinihitte Mbaise and Ezi Enyi of St Benedict Catholic Church, chokeneze Mbaise.
Also speaking, one of his brothers, Chief E.I.P kanu described the demise of Ezeji Solomon Eze as a calamity not only to his family but to Oboama and Ezinihitte Mbaise
Chief Kanu said that late Solomon was the light of the family. In her speech, Mrs Ugochi Osuagwu lamented that their brother was a benevolent personality who demise has set back the family. She prayed God to comfort the entire Ezeakwa family especially his aged father, Innocent Ezekwe, his children and relations.
Also lamenting the death of Ezeji, his younger brother, Mr. Achibiri Onwukwe, said the gap left behind by his demise will be difficult to erase.
