Former Transition Council Chairman of Aboh Mbaise LGA, Imo State, and House of Assembly candidate of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN during the last election, Chief Allan B Onyemaechi has replied the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, on the purported suspension from the party.
In a letter made available to Trumpeta dated April 20, 2013 and addressed to APGA Ward Chairman of Ngurunweke, Aboh Mbaise LGA, Chief Onyemaechi berated the Ward Chairman for going on the air and Newspapers to announce his suspension without any invitation to answer for his “Sins” if there were any, which makes the whole scenario smack of illegality and discriminative, injustice and without due process.
Allan B Onyemaechi who said he joined APGA on April 20, 2012 with pump and pageantry said he has never attended Peoples Democratic Party PDP, and Owerri Zonal Leaders Political Forum OZOPOLF meetings either at Aboh Mbaise or Owerri.
“I don’t belong to any political association formed to discredit and fight the Government of His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha”, he said.
The former pioneer Coordinator of Enyiato Development Centre disclosed that he was a founding member of OZAL and not OZOPOLF, adding that the Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere can confirm this.
Chief Onyemaechi stated that the Ward Chairman of Ngurunweke was being prodded by some appointees of the present Government who hail from Aboh Mbaise to suspend him from APGA, simply because they are afraid of his political profile, pointing out that since he joined APGA, he has been contributing his own quota to the party’s growth both in Aboh Mbaise LGA and Imo State.
He said that he searched his conscience before dumping ACN for APGA, stressing that no amount of intimidation, gossip, blackmail or outright discrimination can make him abandon APGA now, or in the future.
