EZE DURUIHUOMA (SAN) EMPOWERS IMO YOUTHS TO THE TUNE OF 1 MILLION NAIRA

 

The era of youths empowerment seems to be the hearty trend that has engulfed Imo elites.

 

Apart from the ones engineered by government appointees, private individuals and the opposition parties have equally contributed their quota to the development and empowerment of Imo youths to the admiration of the masses.

 

In continuation of what has become his family tradition, the present state party chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Eze Duruihuoma (SAN) on Thursday April 18, empowered youths of Umumaisiaku in Ideato-South Local Government Area to the tune of one million naira.

 

A break down of the generous gesture shows that four undergraduates received the sum of 100,000 naira each, twenty-one widows got 15,000 naira each, another twenty-one secondary school children also got 15,000 naira each while 200,000 naira was given to an indigene of the Community for his poultry business.

 

He equally has promised to embark on building a 5 bedroom house for a widow of the same area.

 

According to Duruihuoma (SAN), the scheme has been sustained for the past five years and is all in the memory of his late father, mother and elder brother who were all committed to the course of serving humanity.
