The newly appointed sole administrator of Ehime Mbano Council Area of Imo State, Hon. (Lady) Chioma Ogoke has articulated her plans to ensure that peace reigns in the area.
Leady Ogoke while assuming duties at the council headquarters Umuezeala on Monday charged every aggrieved person in the council area to sheath his sword that she remain agent of peace in all her endeavours.
The SOLAD expressed happiness over the turn-out of youths, GLO, royal fathers and staff of the council area to receive her as the newly appointed SOLAD of the LGA.
She noted that apart from being a woman, that what is in her is more than a man, stressing that maximum co-operation would add more impetus to her good governance package.
Lady Ogoke further recalled that she was excited not because she was appointed the SOLAD as she had earlier served as the commissioner for commerce and industry, pointing out that her appointment was a call to service.
The former commissioner commended Governor Rochas Okorocha over his giant strides in Imo state adding that CGC remains the catalyst of decentralizing power to all parts of the State.
Earlier, the Director of Administration and General Services (DAGS) of the Council Area, Chief Emmanuel Egbuawa commended the state government for appointing the SOLAD adding that they have been like a sheep without a shepherd since August last year.
Chief Egbuawa assured that all the staff of the council area will not hesitate to give the SOLAD maximum co-operation for the well-being of Ehime Mbano LGA.
In his remark, the chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Ehime Mbano chapter, Hon. Emmanuel Okoroafor described Lady Chioma Ogoke as the God sent SOLAD, adding that she was the chief plotter of the coup that smashed the immediate past administration in Imo State.
Hon. Okoroafor maintained that the newly appointed SOLAD would be a replica of Imo Rescue Mission in the LGA.
