Merger “APC’ is an Unworkable marriage – Imo PDP

The Imo State arm of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) has stated that they are not moved by all the boast and claims of the newly, formed APC to wrestle power out from PDP in the 2015 general election.

 

Speaking to new men in a press briefing at their Okigwe Road secretariate Owerri the State Chairman Eze Duruiheoma SAN, said that PDP as the largest party in Africa is not afraid of any party or merge. He maintained that PDP has proven so far that they have people orientated policies and leaders who can won election any day.

 

The learned SAN. Went further to reveal that states like Imo that were unfortunate to miss the good leadership of the PDP can testify to the level of lawlessness, no respect for rule of law and due process, selfishness, Anti People Policies etc they are experiencing.

 

Commenting on the merger that gave birth to APC, Duruiheoma described it as an unworkable marriage pointing out that clash of interest will be the barn of the party which will subsequently result to its Collapse. “So you see the party is as good as dead on arrival’ he said
