…Whereabouts Unknown As Manhunt For Him Intensifies
The whereabouts of a suspected bisexual, Mr. Sampson Emma Umanze, is unknown even as search for his location for possible arraignment before the law courts in Nigeria for his involvement in practices related to the outlawed homosexual acts.
The middle-aged Sampson who hails from Orogwe in Owerri West LGA of Imo State, is on the run and his location unknown as the time of this report.
Initially, this newspaper learnt that reasons why he is wanted may not be unconnected to the issue of the struggle for the Sovereign State of Biafra; some groups like the Indigenous People’s of Biafra, IPOB, and the militant wing, the Eastern Security Network, ESN, which the Federal Government of Nigeria, is waging war against at the moment.
But investigations however revealed that he is on the run and wanted because of his involvement in prohibited same sex affair and not the pro Biafra groups agitations notwithstanding that he is from the South East region where the government’s battle against Biafra and IPOB is fierce.
According to details which this newspaper authoritatively gathered from sources close to the wanted Sampson Emma Umanze fondly addressed as (Professor), he has been a business man. He had been allegedly mistaken by the security operatives of the federal government for his cousin who is a staunch IPOB member. This forced police authorities and other government agents to now search for his whereabouts, in course of which his sexual orientation and prolonged same-sex activities with his partner of many years was discovered.
Our roving reporter who stormed the site of the incident of the discovery gathered from his Enugu neighbours that Sampson’s alleged sexual activities with fellow men have led him into trouble with Police on his trail.
Story has it that the wanted Sampson Emma Umanze was suspended from further playing for the community over his uncontrollable amorous love advances to other male footballers at his early age.
Details of the same-sex escapades of Sampson continued until that fateful night at Platinum Lounge and Night Club known to harbour same-sex crusaders.
This newspaper further learnt that despite the marriage with Anthonia Chinazom Umanze-Sampson, Sampson never stopped having affairs with his male partners.
But things turned sour for Sampson Umanze and his boyfriend Nonso Obialor on Monday, December 25, 2023 at the famous Golden Royale Hotels Enugu when they were caught pants down while having a romantic same-sex activities
Unknown to Sampson, intel was sent to the police that he lodged at the hotel, and having been trailing him for weeks, the two male lovers were busted naked with incriminating items discovered in their telephones.
Before irate youths could gather to descend on the homosexual men, police had already handcuffed Nonso and thrown him into the Hilux van, while Sampson was said to have escaped with the aid one of the hotel porters.
Speaking to our correspondent who later visited Sampson’s residence, one of the neighbours, Nnamdi Okoroafor disclosed that since Monday the incident happened, police operatives have besieged their abode in search of Kingsley over his IPOB activities as well as Sampson over his gay involvement.
Mr. Nnamdi also revealed that when he parked in newly into the apartment, Sampson Umanze made sexual advances to him which he reprimanded him on and told his friend Charles who advised he keep it secret for the sake of Sampson’s gentle wife and innocent Children.
Mr. Okoroafor did not only express disgust over the abominable action of Sampson Emma Umanze, but also enjoined him to turn a new leaf and focus on his wife rather than lusting after another man’s body.
“Even the Bible and the Igbo tradition abhor homosexuality. Same sin God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah of. For this singular shameful act of Sampson, God can decide to punish everyone living in this flat, thank God he is exposed now”, he said.
As at the time of filing this report, all efforts to reach the police for their side of the story proved abortive as their lines kept saying not reachable.
It could be recalled that Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act of Nigeria provides for imprisonment of up to 14 years for such shameful and disgusting conduct.
