The South East chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC Special Citizens Leader, Hon. Dr. Stanley Chinedu Nwachukwu has stated that the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Presidential Election Petition Court did not came as a surprise.
Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, the capital city of Imo State over the weekend, Dr. Nwachukwu who is also the Chairman, Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, JONAPWD Imo State chapter argued that no any other person than Tinubu was supposed to be declared the authentic President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2023 general elections recalling how APC won majority of the National Assembly Seats, Senate and Federal House of Representatives on 25th February,2023 elections.
He celebrated the capacity of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu urging detractors and opposition parties to sheath their swords and support APC Government for a total overhaul and reformation of Nigeria.
“No wonder, Tinubu is called Jagaban. He has paid his dues and also built bridges across ethnic groups in Nigeria.
This time is no longer for politics, it is time for governance. Look at his recent trip to India where he attracted at least 14 billion dollars investment to Nigeria.
We should all support his administration so as to re-unite Nigeria and spring up rapid development in every sector”, he pleaded.
In furtherance, the Special Citizens Leader maintained that Tinubu’s victory has sent a positive signal to Governor Hope Uzodimma’s re-election bid declaring him as the sole Candidate for the forthcoming Imo State off-cycle gubernatorial election. “Nobody is challenging Governor Hope Uzodimma’s re-election bid. Tinubu’s victory has defined the position of APC in Imo State.
My people have already concluded plans to vote and defend their votes for him come 11th November,2023. APC remains our Party and we thank Governor Hope Uzodimma in advance as our fuel subsidy removal palliatives are underway. And the Almighty God has ordained him 8years in office. His re-election is to thank him for reconstruction and rehabilitation of quality roads in Imo State”, he maintained.
