..As Mgt Recalls Players From Break
The Imo state commissioner for Youths, Sports and Social development Honourable Emeka Okoronkwo on Monday July 19th officially inaugurated the administrative committee for Heartland football club at the Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri, the statesman newspaper can exclusively report.
Okoronkwo inaugurated the three man committee headed by Nze Tonnex Chukwu who will be the committee chairman, Barrister Ifeanyi Dike as member and Barr Nkechi Anokam also as member.
Okoronkwo mandated the administrative committee with the task of producing the Organogram, duties, clear cut roles and obligations of members of the Management to ensure Professionalism and productivity .
The management was updated with positive developments as regards the team Camp, Transportation and Logistics department.
The Director of Sports commission Sir Ferdinand Emeana who was also present at the inauguration reacted to the new development.
Emeana appreciated the Commissioner of Sports for fostering unity and an atmosphere of conviviality between Heartland FC and the major stakeholders like the Imo FA and the Sports Council.
He assured the club of the Commission’s resolve to work harmoniously with our darling Club.
In related development Heartland FC of Owerri has recalled her players to start preparations for the new season.
Heartland’s General Manager Mr Promise Nwachukwu disclosed this in a chat with Heartland media department;
“Time is a luxury we cannot afford for now, hence the need to start as soon as possible. We got here by doing the right things at the right time which got us the right result” Nwachukwu said.
Mr Nwachukwu urged Imolites to keep supporting the team as she returns to the top flight.
Honourable Emeka Okoronkwo earlier also inaugurated a five man Heartland recruitment committee who has been charged with the responsibility of sourcing quality players to fortify the team.
The five man committee are as follows;
Chimezie Amanfor – Chairman
OBINNA Obiaka – member
Casmir Mbachu- member
Ndubuisi Opara – member
Barr Ifeanyi Dike – member
The recruitment committee has been given two weeks to carry out this assignment while the league season according to the IMC will tentatively kickoff in the last week of August
